jesus and me. sometimes i decide to put efforts towards my faith--and then afterwards i find them so rewarding...funny how that works...here's what i read, and it pretty much knocked my socks off:
"the american banking association once sponsored a two-week training program to help tellers detect counterfeit bills. The program was unique--never during the two-week training did the tellers even look at a counterfeit bill, nor did they listen to any lectures concerning the characteristics of counterfeit bills or denouncing the manufacture of counterfiet bills. All they did for two weeks was handle authentic currency, hour after hour and day after day, until they were so familiar with the true bill, that they could not possibly be fooled by the false bill."
As women after God's own heart, there is most definitely a need for you and me to know the truth!We must be learning, growing, and understanding the doctrines of the Christian faith. We must be studying the bible, taking classes, and memorizing scripture together. We must encourage each other to grow deeper and more intimate with Christ, and share the experience with others. We must make sure we're handling enough of the real thing so that we will recognize the wrong thing when it comes along.
