wake up call.

i woke up this morning, looked out my windows...because two walls in my room are all windows, and saw gloomy dark rain clouds. then i heard the wind, coming straight towards me from deep down in the canyon. screaming through the tree tops! and then whoooshhhhhhh right by me. the trees and dust and leaves all rustling as i just lay in my warm bed listening to ingrid....what a beautiful way to start my day!! who knows if it will rain, but these clouds are sure dark enough! this morning i changed my weather city to santa cruz california instead of fresno. just one of the many permanent adjustments for me. i also was about to change my network from fresno to santa cruz last night....but i thought yeah right, i'm not ready for that one yet.

so last night my roommates said it would probably be fine if i didn't go to breakfast this morning (which means i dont have to be down there until 8:55)....but just to make sure, i texted trav last night and asked him....nothing. so i was like...sweet, ill set my alarm for 730 and get to sleep in!

6:21 this morning i get a text. i was pretty much already awake listening to the wind, so it didn't wake me, i just thought it was weird someone would be texting me that early haha....well it was trav "yeah i think so" was his answer.

curse words! so i got up. you should've see me....i looked like the devil with dirty hair. but who cares, i'm the girl who "doesn't talk but probably knows a lot". direct quote from a kid in my trail group. that's why i love camp! a new batch of kids to start alllll over with next week!! i wonder what they'll call me then....
